Dr. Joshua Woody is the newest member to join Fondren Orthopedic Group L.L.P. and to treat patients at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. Woody specializes in surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He studied at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and graduated Cum Laude. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship programs at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
When Dr. Woody is not performing surgery, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.

The Santana Dotson Foundation was established in 1995 to provide the financial and emotional support needed by challenged, yet deserving, high school students, to realize their dreams of a college education. Founder, Santana Dotson, is now a retired NFL player. He grew up in Houston, attended Baylor University, and then went on to play football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Greenbay Packers and the Washington Redskins.

This week, two children with orthopedic defects arrived in Houston for humanitarian care by doctors at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston. 14 y old Mohammed Jammous lost his leg from a tank shell last August in Syria and is the first injured Syrian child to come to Texas for donated care.

Lind named new CEO of Texas Orthopedic Hospital
Texas Orthopedic Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of R. Trent Lind as Chief Executive Officer.
“We are delighted to have Trent join our team. He is an enthusiastic leader, committed to promoting a facility of excellence,” states Troy Sarver, Chief Nursing Officer.
Lind, who has 10 years of experience in healthcare administration, most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Swedish Medical Center, in Englewood, Colorado, part of The Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA).
Prior to Swedish Medical Center in Colorado, Trent exhibited a remarkable and proven career path at Baptist Health, in Jacksonville, Fawcett Memorial Hospital, in Port Charlotte, and Brandon Regional Hospital, in Brandon, Florida.
"I am very excited about being at Texas Orthopedic Hospital and the opportunity to work with the Fondren Orthopedic Group. Coupled with the Fondren surgeons, Texas Orthopedic Hospital remains the premier provider of orthopedic services in the state of Texas," states Lind.
R. Trent Lind holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
When Trent is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys an active leisure lifestyle: running, scuba diving, hiking, and playing soccer.
