Chris Stewart named Chief Nursing Officer at Texas Orthopedic Hospital
HOUSTON, TX – Texas Orthopedic Hospital announced the appointment of Chris Stewart as chief nursing officer (CNO), effective December 31, 2023.
Chris has been a valued member of the Texas Orthopedic Hospital family since 2021, where he started as the VP of surgical services. Chris has played an integral role in the operating room expansion, reduction of immediate use steam sterilization, increased employee engagement scores, central sterile processing department remodel, and received the 2021 HCA Developer of the Year award.
"Chris is a proven leader in surgical services and he is ready to take on a larger role within our organization," said Eric Becker, CEO of Texas Orthopedic Hospital. "His expertise, ability to drive results and commitment to our mission will be an asset to the Texas Orthopedic Hospital leadership team."
Chris started his nursing career as an orthopedic nurse in 1999. He has more than 20 years of experience in surgical leadership and perioperative services. He received his Master’s in Business Administration in 2018.
