The Santana Dotson Foundation was established in 1995

The Santana Dotson Foundation was established in 1995 to provide the financial and emotional support needed by challenged, yet deserving, high school students, to realize their dreams of a college education. Founder, Santana Dotson, is now a retired NFL player. He grew up in Houston, attended Baylor University, and then went on to play football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Greenbay Packers and the Washington Redskins.

For the past 16 years, Santana Dotson and his team of dedicated volunteers have worked relentlessly to provide a packed weekend of events to raise scholarship money for high school students. The annual events include a celebrity pool tournament, a football clinic for a variety of school aged kids, a comedy show/dance, and a crawfish boil.

Texas Orthopedic Hospital is proud to sponsor Santana Dotson’s Foundation and to assist in providing local athletes with an opportunity to pursue their dreams of a higher education. 100% of the money raised goes directly to these deserving kids.
